I so wish that XV-870 Shell Pink Rosewood Fingerboard had a maple fretboard... Has anyone ever had a XV-620? Could the be a gig worthy player with min upgrades? I have an AX-620 from the last blem sale. Overall, very nice guitar, but definitely needs some upgrades. the pickups are nice, but their a bit trebley, the tuners are junk and the volume pot is a full on-or-off deal. Otherwise, I'd rank it Squier quality, definitely could be a player with some upgrades.

I assume we are talking about the ESP LTD M-15. I ordered a black. Has some sharp fret ends. Tuners are cheap ESP branded tuners. Seem to stay in tune ok, but not Grovers as far as I can tell. I stand corrected. Yeah, there ESP tuners, but their "Grover" style

D-log - Does this guitar have Grovers? Yeah, but their ESP Grovers, so I'm assuming it's some kind of offbrand knockoff that Grover put's their name on. Sort of like the EMG that's Axl put in their Badwater series... out of curiosity, which model rockfield did you buy?

She does have a little bit of fret buzz on the lower E string, going to set her up properly later. Plugged it in, and (so far) I'm very impressed with the sound... The neck pickup is OK, but the bridge pickups is surprisingly full and well defined! I was expecting a muddy or tinny mess, but the humbucker sings very well through my vibro-champ and thug. These are just first impressions, but I feel it's a bargain for $80 shipped.

Possibly. I buy stuff off craigslist every now and then, and I've gotten some guitars for low prices. Thing is, none of them have a serial #, so I can't check to see if their stolen. I haven't met any sellers that seem really shady, but a lot of them seem to just think a guitar is a guitar. Either their not privy to guitars, or their just trying to get rid of it. I can't honestly tell
