  1. I went to the Amps forum and was very disappointed to find that it had turned into a "for sale" page. I was expecting a forum of questions and opinions of guitar amplifiers. I was saddened to see that this forum not the least bit informative like the User Reviews in the "old HC". I bought two amps based on those reviews - both "boutique" and both very satisfying. I wonder why this website exists. I hope a new administration will change it for the better.
  2. I'd like to know what the typical Marshall and Vox tube reverb assignments are. Being a "Fender Guy", I know that the driver (typically V3) employs both halves of a 12AT7 and the recovery uses one half of an 12AX7. When posters refer to the "reverb tube" - meaning the driver, they are only looking at half of the circuit. I don't know anything about Laney's similarities to Fender, Vox, or Marshall when it comes to circuit design. Does your Laney use any opamp IC's for drive or recovery? Please help me out on this so I can help others with reverb problems. Sometimes they are simple, other times they are impossible.
