  1. The trick with reducing shipping costs is making sure you use the smallest box possible. They figure the cost with not only the wieght but the overall dimensions of the box. I typically use the uline.com guitar boxs which are basically the size of a strat case. 18x6x45. Tall guitars like Explorers and Basses you need the 50" tall box and that makes the price go way up. Shipping to your closest side of the country too is obviously cheaper. I can ship stuff for reasonable prices to anywhere on the east coast, but California, Arizona, etc get expensive. What I do, is I have a free account on FedEx.com. I print up my shipping labels there, and then drop the box off at Kinkos/FedEx. I get a slight discount for using an account. Also, insurance and getting signatures increases the price as well. I've shipped about 50 guitars in the last couple of years and by far FedEx is the cheapest. Shipping usually costs me anywhere between $25 and $40, not including the cost of the box, if I buy them form uline, which adds about 7 bucks to my cost. Also, FedEx owns Kinkos now, so it's not like its a third party store. As long as all you do is drop off a pre-labelled box, there should not be any difference in price if you dropped it off at a FedEx distribution center.

  6. This is a great guitar. Years ago, Mazi and I had a race to see who would buy a Schecter C1 first. I won the race, but he eventually beat me by owning several Schecters. GREAT guitars. Really well-built. Yup. I pulled out my C1 Classic the other day because I was thinking of selling it, but after playing it for a bit, I changed my mind. Such a nice guitar.
  7. Today, 01:02 PM no congrats?!?!? what has gotten into this place. lol :poke:
  8. Yeah, I never give it out, and I explain the "report it stolen" scam if they give me a hard time about it. I will give out the first few numbers for year verification, but they don't really have any right to know the whole number until they buy it.
  9. I don't know, is it rated to repel {censored}sauce? Ok, you'll want to upgrade to the {censored}sauce repellent model, or for $19.99 you can get a can of {censored}sauce Repellent Spray, enough to treat up to 5 ponchos!

  11. It a Jackson DXMGT, I used to have one just like it. Great guitar, and the EMG pickups are fine, don't let someone talk you into replacing them unless you yourself don't like them. They are the same thing as an 85, just passive, not active, and there are made in the USA right along side the other EMGs and I personally thing they sound fine, and I have many other guitars with active EMGs as well.
  12. These are on ebay ending Monday night. If any one is interested, make an offer this weekend. Thanks. This is a nice body from a made in japan 1987 Charvel Model 4. A nice fire engine red color. It's got some dings and dents and some scratches on the back, but overall in very nice cosmetic condition. The strap button on the end was moved down a little bit and the old hole was filled and finshed in a red matching color. You can see it a bit when looking right at it, but it blends in pretty good and of course a guitar strap will cover it up as well. Please see the photos. This takes one humbucker and two single coil sized pickups and 3 on/off mini toggle switches in place of the usual 3 or 5 way switch. Mini-toggles are great for interesting switching options. Original strap buttons and trem claw are included as pictured. I have the pickups available separately if interested. Shipping to USA lower 48 states only, Paypal only. I will not ship anywhere else, no exceptions. Shipping is by FedEx ground, fully insured.
