A local store has a power block for $200. WTF?? I wanted one when I had my little Marshall 1965 (?) b 2x12 (looked like a miniature 4x12. A great sounding little cab that can be had on the cheap)

You should look into the Peavey Classic 50 if you need the amp's overdrive. The gain channel sounds better than the Fender, the cleans are great with more headroom and they're also cheaper if you buy it used. The classic 50 is the amp Fender shoulda made. The Peavey guys had their sh*t together, on the Classic 50's. I love the 90's tweed 2x12 version. The speakers suck, but with a ProCo RAT & some Classic Lead 80's = AWESOME.

Always wanted to daisy chain out of a Marshall JTM 100 into a Fender Showman, with a fuzz face & a strat . Hendrix @ Monterey yummy goodness.

Currently, its a 80's Marshall bass 12 (same thing as a lead 12, but no distortion) with the stock "10 removed & a g12k85 12" in it (I got it that way), an Ibanez Tube King, & a 70's Partscaster w an EMG81 in the bridge (all my gear's in storage & no room for it at the temporary residence)
