  1. I started writing when I started actually making up my own stuff on guitar as a kid, then words just started to come with the music.
  2. Just out of curiousity, what do you people plan on doing when you're old and wrinkly and realize the stupid metal tattoo you got is {censored}ing stupid I plan to die when I am old, so the fact that I have tats doesn't change the plan. Each one is a memory of a time and place so when I am old I will still have those memories of when I was younger. I got my 1st one 20 years ago, haven't changed my mind about them yet, I'm 38, have a wife and 3 kids but I got my nose pierced last year. I do it because I don't have to answer to anyone and if it offends someone I see that as their problem not mine.
  3. I have 7 tats including a couple that I did the artwork for and had the artist do it ink. My brother is sleeved out on both arms, and has somewhere between 6-10K tied up in tats, he has one artist that he likes in particular that he travels to go see, so the sessions are several hours at a time at $100 an hour.
  4. I agree that modelling amps have a little more development to go before they are competitive on a pro level, but eventually they will be good enough that 99% of musicians will never know the difference in sound unless they see the gear. I absolutely love tube amps, but I use the processors because I like having my effects separate from my amps. I have an RP1000 and GSP1101, that I use for sweetening studio tracks but live I use my wah and chorus pedal and compressor. This time out I plan to have my Ovation on a stand and will just walk up behind it to play the clean parts, I like the way it sounds on the album so I will just use the same gear live.
