  1. Hi Crazy, you might want to give these a spin before you break out the Dremel... http://www.inlaystickers.com/servlet/the-143/epiphone-gibson-fret-neck/Detail I might pick some up. For $6.50, if they suck, I'm not out much. Thanks!
  2. I'll bet some of these orders that went through for the Gibson RG aren't going to equate with availability. I'm crossing my fingers. It's an RD
  3. Call me crazy, but I like the black one better. I'm thinking of actually pulling the frets and adding trapezoid inlays when I get mine.
  4. The "reissue" RD Standard is bereft of any of the original characteristics which differentiated it from any other two ho-hum bucker Gibby. It is a good deal for someone wanting a USA Gibson with a few more features than a Studio w/ a hard case. I was never a fan of the characteristics that differentiated it from other Gibsons. I love the LP scale length and mahogany body. Those were two reasons why I never picked up a vintage RD.
  5. : http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid/ Just ordered one. I've always liked the looks of the original RDs but didn't like the scale length or the body wood. Stoked they reissued it but never wanted to pay full price. This is the perfect price to make me buy it.
  6. Syd Barrett 1968/69 I think.. Yeah, but he didn't put them on hoping they would reflect light in a cool way. They were actually there to reflect mindreading beams from black helicopters.
  7. So, dunno if this has been answered yet, but Eddie said he found the reflectors at a truck stop and put him on his guitar because the thought they would reflect stage lights in a cool way. That's not even close to the real story. See, he was at a truck stop and he found those reflectors. Later on he put them on his guitar in hopes that their reflections of the stage lights would be in a cool sort of way. Sorry to be a dick but I hate misinformation.
  8. This guitar and amp-in-case all original (original speaker, instrument cable and parts) with what looks like to be the original tubes as well. It's in excellent condition and has been babied since I've owned it. $600 shipped. Buyer pays Paypal fees. NO TRADES.
  9. All original (yes, black JT-6 trems had a silver trem arm) except for a GFS Power Rails in the bridge. Excellent condition. $400 shipped. Buyer pays Paypal fees. NO TRADES.
  10. Looking to trade my Mesa Nomad 100 combo. Looking to trade for a tube amp head. Something along the lines of a Marshall or Splawn would be ideal. Might even consider a Recto (though I already have a lot of Mesas so it isn't my first choice) or Vox. I'm not looking for anything made by Peavey and am definitely NOT looking for modeling or SS amps. Would also trade for a Gibson SG Standard. Hit me up with what you've got. PM me offers. The amp is kinda dusty in the pics, those aren't scratches or tears.
  11. I'm the winner Whoever posts immediately after me wants to {censored} Jerry Seinfeld.
  12. I hate to break it to you guys but I already won. I got my prize in the mail yesterday.
  13. Great story. I think the ending needs some work though. I think's odd introducing a character so late in the story. I think it would have been better had you alluded to her earlier on.
