I loved it. I loved the music from that era. It was a FUN movie. I watched just to hear the soundtrack. I agree that Tom really nailed the whole rock star thing. Can he sing? Maybe a little, but how they put all of the songs together to tell the story was kinda cool. It was entertaining from the opening credits until the lights came on. It had its hilariously funny moments, too. like when Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand singing "I can't fight this feeling anymore". That was funny. Just seeing Juliane Hough in those outfits was worth the price of admission.

which model is the Soldano on the VOX Vt series? I saw somewhere it was the modded CL, but that was a clean model that no amount of gain dirtied up.

To me, that tone always sounded like he used chorus. I can see that maybe. I added a little delay to the tone I'm using for it, which I think makes it sound pretty good, but I haven't tried any chorus.

Hey guys, please don't flame me or tell me how bad CC sucks or anything. I have a Vox VT 15 modeling amp and Les Paul type guitar (Dean Soltero) with dual humbuckers and coil splits. What settings should I use to get that tone? I've played around with it and got something close, but what do you guys think? another way of asking, what kind of effects and amp did he use for that song? Thanks!

I really like Whitesnake, and Coverdale can wail with the best of them. I also like a couple of songs from Priest, but they only had like 2 hits max. and how could you not be a fan of whitesnake in the 80's, when Tawny spread herself all over everything. I know as a 12-14 year old boy, that was a VERY nice image in front of some great music. Soundgarden, I like, Nirvana and Pearl Jam killed music for a long time. I am so sick of Kurt Cobain and all of Pearl Jam's political views. Who cares!
