I dumped about $200 in repairs on the one I owned. do n:ot miss I made about $200 on each one I repaired.

It just seemed the thing to do when you start playing an instrument. You learn the songs you like and start making up your own, or if you're lucky enough to be in a band you start jamming which becomes the basis for songs. In high school I had a creative writing class which helped, and there I met a singer who joined my band and we were soon writing songs and playing them with the band.

As much as I dig Clapton, Greenday deserves to win for writing great new music that has substance, not just trotting out old songs- no matter how great they are. Oh, and even if you hate Bono, he's given away more money to charity than you'll ever make in your whole life, or your kids, grandkidz, great grandkiddies combined.

I've worked on a few for minor stuff and thought they sounded pretty good. As long as they're not biased too hot so they don't over heat and the ribbon connectors between boards are good (easy to fix anyway) then you shouldn't have any problems. 500 is a little high, I'd say 400.
