wow, that's quite a commitment. What drives you? Tradition, or stubbornness mostly.

Too many stuff get out-sourced nowadays. I want my gear to remain American. For guitars, I buy ONLY American made. For Amps, American or British made. A bit more expensive, yes. But here's where I draw my line. I don't want my hobby & passion to be outsourced in any way.

It's just that the flames kind of "taking over" the eyes from the guitar itself, it's more 'pretty' than function kind-of deal. Please post some plaintops, naturally aged, sweat & tears, gig 8 hrs a day LP?

For Les Paul lovers, Am I crazy to love plain top over flame tops?? I just can't stop GASing for the naturally aged plain top Les Paul. No hard feeling. I just don't feel the flame tops as much. What about you?
