  1. Gibson ES-335 in rare Beale St. Blue Color - with SUBTLE FLAME!! Custom SHOP! WONDERFUL guitar.... This would be the guitar I would dread the most selling, but I am starting a new business endeavor and I need some starting capital... COMFORTABLE!!! GREAT SOUNDING!!!! IT has been professionally set up, and because of intonation on the G string, the saddle was turned around and a new slot made... nothing noticeable.... a little pick marks in the guard, nothing much.... You may need to set it up again to your specs. comes with OHSC, COA. Pics: $2,600 SHIPPED (insured) and PP'd (gift preferred, but not required). I could take a semi hollow in a partial trade (MIJ or MIA), but I need to clear at least $1,500 cash. Thanks!
  2. I'm sending my HB DC back. Neck is too thin for me. DON'T! Sell it to a Forum member that may want it for the same price you got it! :poke: Deals: Hello Music: Mesa Boogie TransAtlantic TA-30 Combo for $1,200, it retails $1,650 everywhere else... http://www.hellomusic.com
  3. The Alesis interface is an OK deal, but I bet this will just be ready to use for the ipad1, and you will have to wait for an ipad2 adapter from Alesis. Just an FYI if you are planning to order. From http://www.alesis.com/iodock - FAQ's Does the iO Dock work with iPad 2? Yes! The iO Dock is fully certified by Apple to work with both iPad and iPad 2. As soon as iPad 2 was announced, Alesis began designing a fitted insert for iO Dock that perfectly conforms to iPad 2’s thinner profile. If your iO Dock did not include an iPad 2 insert in the box, click here to receive one for free. If you use the original iPad, no insert is necessary.
  4. You can connect you guitar to Amplitube or GarageBand and use a midi controller. It's like buying the iRig and iMidi all-in-one for less money. Plus it looks like it has a boatload of other input and output features. Missed it!!!! darned! It is sold out!
  5. A little OT, but Outback is giving a free steak dinner... 1 Million Free Steak Dinners outbackfreesteaks.com One per household...
  6. There is a difference between Gibson's "darkback" and "black-back" so I'd say MF got it wrong. I think we might be discovering why these were on the SDOTD. The must have been a run of off-colored backs from the Gibson factory. Box says "darkback" but guitar is "black-back". If MF would have shown this: and you get this: I would get mad... But if they show you this: and you get something like this: I would not because it is close enough, maybe darker, but still, close... MF did not make a mistake, they show a pic, you chose to assume that they were wrong and it was going to be a "clearer" dark back... imho... One thing... if you are thinking about returning it because of this, maybe you could sell it to a forumite that missed the sale...
  7. For those on the edge, shakin in yer boots - here's a bit more nudge And in honor of Angry Tele's "Backdoor....Guitar booty" thread of yesterday
  8. WTF? I thought it was shown with a dark mahogany back and neck. If mine is black it goes back, good deal or not. Maybe you can sell it to a forumite that did not get to purchase it at the deal price
  9. 99 dollrs to browse web, watch movies, etc...... I think it's A deal but only if you find one! :-)
  10. Cash-back available on select brands only. Because I had some time before leaving for work yesterday, I decided to cancel my early phone order for the SDOTD and I did a new order through mr. Rebates.... I mean, I was ordering regardless, so I took a chance because the worse that can happen is that I would not get the rebate... To my surprise, I have received an email from mr. Rebates saying that I have $119 pending rebate from my purchase with MF... So I guess, after all, I will be getting the guitar with a nice cash back rebate.... I will not count my blessings with this rebate until I physically get the money, but this is a good start... Thank you Marko for the reminder about mr. Rebates! And people, don't forget to use it if you are buying today's SDOTD.... I can't guarantee it will work for you this time, but it is worth the try... Omar
  11. I'm doubtful of that since they have all three colors still in stock and the SDotD was the last batch of GTs. I did notice that the White HB (w/ ebony board) is marked down to the level of the pre-SDotD GT, so maybe they will blow that one out. Thanks for the congrats, BTW. Don't forget to play the lottery this week.... You nailed it!!!!!
  12. I left the comments blank, it still didn't go through. I just now called it in and got the match - 10%. That finally put me over the edge, happy birthday (next week) to me...... I called with no luck! I placed my order with MF now and it is processed... I wish I would have known about Mr. Rebates before!
  13. Hello Music: - Fender Bassman 59' Reissue for $1,000 (everywhere else $1,300) - Roland GR-55 with GK PU for $600 (everywhere else for $800) - Gibson Melody MAker for $350 (everywhere else for $450?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4EnCOZcZCA&feature=player_embedded
  14. An American Deluxe is definitely nice, just make sure you like the neck, which has been the most common "complaint" I have heard... I do not think you can price match, because Hellomusic.com IS NOT an Authorized Retailer. I still think it is a GREAT deal, if I wasn't getting a guitar built by (Steve) Benford at this time, I would pull the trigger. Anyone have thoughts on this guy? I was heavily researching HSS Strats today and it feels...fated... Also, what's the deal with getting a price match somewhere else to avoid taxes/fees? Is that easy to do? Do you end up saving money?
