  1. A few years ago, you could definitely make a fair amount of scratch just bouncing gear between Craigslist and eBay, but nowadays, stuff just isn't selling like it used to. I'm sure if you're willing to do the legwork and a little haggling, you could get get something going. However, right now, people just don't have as much spendy cash to go around. edit: I don't want to discourage you or anything, but I also don't want you to end up with a bunch of $350 guitars that you can't sell for $250, which is where a lot of folks are finding themselves nowadays.

  3. I'm in Southern NY. If anyone's building a rack system, I've got some stuff that might interest you. It's all good stuff but I just haven't been using it lately and I could use the room. Interested in guitars and stuff SKB 6U rack with front/rear doors and rails Furman power dealie Korg DT-1 Pro tuner Crown XLS 402 Power Amp - 900 watts bridged mono, 450 watts stereo 4ohm. Had an issue with a fan controller that burned out, but I replaced both fans and it has been running fine for the last 4 months or so. BBE 862 Sonic Maximizer Biamp 8 channel mixer. Old and dusty, but works great for a small PA system or band mixer. Alesis Quadraverb - with power supply Behringer Patchbay - 1/4" all throughout. Each quad of jacks has 4 settings so you can multiplex or patch in for effects.
