  1. Which part? I'd be happy to elaborate. We're not talking about music. We're talking about rap. Where people rhyme made up words over top of someone else's music. You know... like for shizzle my nizzle. What is a nizzle anyway?
  2. So in other words you have no evidence to support your so called fact? I didn't think so. A lot of talk is what I would expect from a rap fan. I enjoyed rap when it was original and had something to offer. I came up in the 80's and 90's when there was some real talent to be had. And I am sure there is 1 talented rap artist adrift in the endless sea of garbage there is to be had now... he or she is just not worth the effort of listening to all the crap you have to sift through to find them. You cannot deny that the majority... not all... but the majority of rap out there now is some idiot talking about his gold toofs, bitches, and 22 inch rims, as they is hittin da club. It contributes to people's stupidity. I would still be willing to look over your proof of this "fact" you claim to know when you gather it up though. WTF are you talking about? Are you trying to convince us what music to listen to? Anyways, I wouldn't pay to see a hologram. I want to see a live perfomance and I think it's a slap in the face to a lot of artists out there. It was cool at Coachella for a one time thing. But I don't like the idea of reviving every dead artist out there. Not only that I think it's insulting to revive someone's image like that and market it to hell...
  3. PRS Tremonti pickups seem to fit what you're looking for. They're a bit pricey as a set but they're worth it.I may look into that!
  4. OK! I figured it out... It's not the guitar that I don't like it's the pickups!! EMGs are very bleh... Even with the 18v mod it's very lifeless. I want a decently hot passive humbucker that doesn't have vomit inducing cleans. Cleans slightly better than EMGs are all I ask! Maybe Duncan Distortion? What to pair it with for the neck.... Hmmm...
  5. No I have an acoustic already. It's an old 70s beat up Epiphone that my dad gave me. That thing is awesome.
  6. I've got the itch for a new guitar. I dunno what... But I want a new guitar! I REALLY want a Telecaster but I already have a strat style guitar and a LP. So I don't think I need any more vintage tones at the moment. I have the Hellraiser with EMGs. I'm looking for something with humbuckers to cover hard rock to metal territory. I don't care about actives so passives are fine. I've had my eye on an Explorer for a wile. I've never tried the 500t p'ups. How do they compare to the 81/85? Or maybe I can try and trade it for a 5150. Something buzzy and aggressive.... I bought my Schecter for only $200-$300. Do you think someone would trade it straight up for a Gibson? Any other suggestions?
  7. Cool! Throw me a link Mr. Pigwings!www.daskeyboard.com I wan't one of those blank Das Keyboards really badly!! Razer, Steel Series, and a lot of the other companies out there offer mechanical keyboards as well. They're mostly marketed towards "gamers" these days.
  8. Oh man I'd love one of those! All you can find now are membrane keyboards. I loved typing and feeling the mechanical "CLICK" under my finger tips. I typed a lot faster on those too.Mechanical keyboards are still out there for the enthusiasts. I'm going to buy one of these once I get a few extra bucks!
  9. You may want to check your truss rod. I had someone bring me a very stiff feeling Strat fairly recently. Adjusted the truss rod and did a few other minor things and it felt great. Not sure how yours is set up but I can't imagine .010 on a Strat being very heavy.A professional set-up wouldnt hurt. I've seen some stock strats that have had their setup destroyed by going from 9s to 10s. It's usually because the trem claw needs an extra spring to compensate for the tension. Otherwise the bridge rises to nearly a 90 degree angle off the body!
  10. I've just recently changed my Stratocaster's strings gauge from .9 to .10 because I felt like I wanted a thicker sounding. .9 was a bit too soft sounding and too thin for me. However, I found now the strings tension is extremely tight that it makes bending VERY difficult. Now very often I tend to bend out of tune (a semi tone lower) even when I try to bend really hard with the right posture. And it result in my fingertip's skin are falling off, and within a few hours of playing my fingertips are already hurting so bad that I can't bend anymore, and I have to wait till the next day to be able to play again. I play quite often, it shouldn't hurt this bad, and I think .10 is alright for me, and I've used .10 before, but it's just that this time the tension becomes so tight that makes bending extremely difficult. I don't know is it the setup or what. Is there a way I can release the strings tension and make it less tight by myself? I thought the action is already pretty low, but if lowering the action is the only way to solve this problem, how do I lower the action? How long have you been playing? The difference between 9s and 10s really is not that big at all. God forbid you ever play an acoustic. There's no secret just keep playing and your fingers will get stronger.
