  1. PLUS, I have written record of everytime she's "said" she was going to visit them ONLY to disappoint them by either not showing up at all or calling to say she can't make it. Keep doing that man. If you don't have a record, you don't have crap. Keep that running log going, keep it organized, and you'll have everything you need when the time comes.
  2. Actually, with her being active duty Air Force, you are in a slightly better position to get majority of the custody. Research some, because I think it could work in your favor. I think. DracoAran might be right. In today's Air Force, she is almost guaranteed to deploy for at least 6 months. If you have the steady job thing in order, etc. I would think you'd get custody.
  3. It's really cool if the girl is over 500 pounds. There is so much stuff flapping around in slow motion that it resembles billowing clouds....(tear).
  4. Originally posted by 17 Tubes It's a good point. Doesn't mean Romanian can't rough him up a bit, if he's willing to pay his own price for it. LOL! No he is right. It is the flag-burner's flag too. I just don't understand why someone would want to do that. You want to protest, burn a North Korean flag.
  5. Originally posted by rgf The difference between Terri Schiavo and a cow.....a cow can run away or kick you....Terri could not. So far no one has posted anything that has shot down the logic of my repugnant analogy. LOL!!! Try explaining that to the doctor. "Yeah, I tried to plug a cow and he kicked me in the nuts and ran away. Now, can you fix my sack or not doctor?"
  6. Originally posted by doggage5050 i can't believe just how scary it is when people think burning a flag would consent to punishment. hell, why stop there, go on and pass laws that make it illegal to speak out against your country or offend anyone. save us your crap and move to china. you will be much happier there. I don't think it should be illegal to burn the flag, I just said that I don't like it. That's like someone calling your mom a bitch from across the street. He didn't do anything illegal but it still bothers you. I just don't get what flag burning accomplishes. Burn an effigy of a person. Why burn a flag that represents ideals, people of various religions and races, etc.? The flag does not represent the government. It represents freedom.
  7. Originally posted by guitarman3001 if you're against burning the flag in protest, you obviously don't stand for freedom of speech. You're a hypocrite. You claim to stand for what the flag represents but in reality you don't. Freedom of speech means even speech you may find offensive, not just the speech you agree with. Go to hell man. Don't attack me like you think you know me. You don't know {censored} about me. Don't call me a {censored}ing hypocrite just because I don't like people burning my flag. Unless you ever served anywhere other than behind a Taco Bell counter you can't even begin to understand how sacred we hold that flag. Since the birth of this nation that flag has represented sacrifice. On military bases we stop everything for reveille and retreat each day to pay respect to that flag. We salute it going up and salute it going down. If any of you on the forum are for burning the flag then good for you. Don't attack me for loving the flag and this country and what it stands for.
  8. Flag burning bothers me because I am in the military and love that thing. Everything I stand for is in that flag and the history it represents. I know some people think it is just cloth, but it is not to me. Another reason I am against it is because people in the middle east burn that flag and stomp on it. I can't understand why Americans would want to imitate that hatred act. If I walked down the street yelling "Sex with children should be ok", I would be arrested, guaranteed. I agree with free speech but I think that people who protested with dignity, like Martin Luther King Jr., have the ability to bring people together with differences that would be otherwise be impossible.

Originally posted by Highgrade From CNN: 'The most wanted man in Iraq died in a U.S. airstrike Wednesday evening when two 500-pound bombs slammed into a safe house near Baquba, according to U.S. Army Maj. I'll take this one since I'm Air Force. You have bombs that are made to penetrate a building, then explode, and you have bombs that explode on impact. Depending on the building's construction, the bombs blast can do different types of damage. You could have a gaping hole in the middle and collapsing around the edges with slabs of concrete in a stack adjacent. I'm sure he died from being nailed with debris from the explosion and/or suffocated inside what was left of the building. There are no hocus pocus tricks here. He's dead.
