    Veteran sound engineer Robert Scovill will demonstrate how the new flagship VENUE system enables live sound professionals to handle the most complex tours and events

    AES (Booth #718), New York City, NY, October 30, 2015Avid® has announced it will host a webinar on the new Avid VENUE | S6L live sound system on November 12, at 1pm EST, featuring veteran sound engineer, Robert Scovill. VENUE | S6L is a fully modular, scalable live sound mixing system that delivers best-in-class functionality for a range of live sound mixing applications, including front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, theater, and more. Powered by Avid Everywhere™, VENUE | S6L is tightly integrated with industry-standard Pro Tools® and functions as the perfect front-end to the Avid MediaCentral™ Platform, the most fluid end-to-end media management and distribution platform in the industry.
    The webinar will give attendees an overview of the VENUE | S6L system, its components, and key technologies. They will also learn how to:
    • Use VENUE software and work with the I/O processing channels
    • Build and create show files using custom layouts
    • Mix more efficiently with the universe and touchscreen workflows

    Attendees will also be able to get their questions answered by Robert and the Avid live sound team.
