Members Idunno
Until now I shilled Shubb products but I'll add this one to the A-List. Edit: Note the pic. It's of the NS Capo "Lite" which is ABS plastic and not recommended for 12-string. I bought the aluminum one that is recommended for 6 and 12-string and looks identical to it. So, read the label before buying. Members DeepEnd
I've tried the NS Lite version and it works well. A couple of years ago I gave one to a fellow praise band member who was still using a rubber band type. Not as quick to use as the Shubb but it's pretty good otherwise. The aluminum version should be at least as good.
Members Samilyn
Looks sweet. If I get around to trying something new I'll pop for the aluminum version of this. My old Kyser-for-12er is still working just fine though.
Members MrHarryReems
I've played a TON of gigs with those, and I hauled one with me on a pub tour through the Republic of Ireland. Absolutely fantastic capos.
Members FretFiend.
Planet Waves NS capo. It's inexpensive, it's aluminum, it's bullet proof, it's as simple as dirt, and it's as easy to use as a Shubb. A drop of light machine oil on the threads of the adjustment screw will make it work smooth as silk. At fifteen bucks on Amazon Prime, it's the best bang for the buck out there. Members DeepEnd
Good but not as easy as a Shubb. Reminds me too much of the old Hamilton screw capo. YMMV:
