Members garthman
Hello all. And I'm even later than last month! I've been taking advantage of near tropical temperatures in the UK this weekend - 85F in the garden this afternoon. Last month I posted a song called "The Maid of Coolmore" a collab between myself and Samilyn. I sent Samilyn two versions: one played on steel strings and one played on nylon strings. She used the steel string version so this month I'm posting the one played on nylon strings. Members Idunno
Link didn't work for me, Howard. It's probably my antiquated system. I'll check back later. Must complete the trimming of a Live oak in my front yard before the sky opens up. Oops, too late, I hear the thunder as I type. May as well take the rest of the day off now. Nothing from me this go-round. Keep the faith all and thanks for standing Host Post, Howard.
Members DeepEnd
Recently I was noodling around and realized I was playing the opening to "It's Going To Take Some Time This Time" by Carole King. I'd never played it before but with some help from the Interwebz I worked out the chords. Here it is, capoed at 2:http://kiwi6.com/file/hac3p11k42 I've also switched hosting outfits and since some folks said they couldn't listen to my April submission, here it is again for anyone who missed it, an original Country tune called "Too Homely To Be Unfaithful":http://kiwi6.com/file/9hdynavv20

Members DeepEnd
garthman - Haunting and evocative. I think I prefer the nylon string version. It just seems to suit the song. I wish I could have heard it with the added keyboards.extollo - I have to admit I was never a huge Allman Brothers fan but you did a great job on that one. I note your version seems a bit more "lively." In other words, it has your own stamp, which is great.catscurlyear - Great job on a classic song. Well played and sung.
