Members 80sbuttrock
After about going thru $40 worth of strings trying to find a set that would cut through the huge warmness of my X series Martin, I discovered these- I love em! Easy to bend too- my 12s feel like 11s
Members Freeman Keller
Good to know that they are bright. What else did you try and how do you rank them?
Members bigald18
Try GHD. They are the brightest strings I've played. BigAl
Members DeepEnd
Try GHD. They are the brightest strings I've played. BigAl What are GHD's? I've heard of GHS but they make several formulas of strings. To the OP: Anyway, I never heard of aluminum strings. They're supposed to last a long time too. I might try a set one of these days. BTW, I'd also be interested in knowing what other sets you tried.

Members guitarcapo
Phosphor bronze always sound dull to me...but they last a long while and the tone doesn't change. Probably better for a tinny guitar or for punchy fingerpicking.
