Members Jimmy Chaos
I need talking into/out of getting a spruce topped dreadnought. I played a Yamaha FG700ms last week that was really nice. I also like the look of the Crafter D6N. I like satin finishes, it'll also give me a back-up guitar for playing live and Both clock in at less than
Members garthman
The Crafter D6N is a great guitar for the price. The Lite D SP/N is also a good guitar and even cheaper than the D6: http://www.brightonguitars.co.uk/new-guitars/new-acoustic-guitars/crafter-acoustic-guitars/Crafter-lite-series-acoustic-guitars/crafter-lite-d-sp-n?language=en¤cy=GBP&utm_source=google&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=products Here is a vid, (obviously recorded in a huge warehouse - lots of reverb):
Members katopp
Get a PU into your Gibsun... It's got a solid spruce top and solid maple sides.

Members gitnoob
I used to have the DV200N, which is sort of the all-solid wood version of the same guitar. It was good. And it was way cheap used. Crafters are reasonable values new, but they are killer values used.

Members Simon Gardner
I know it's an old thread, but I recently bought a D6N as a first guitar for my son and it's perfect for the price.
Members garthman
Hello and welcome. Good choice - they play and sound very good - an ideal first guitar and one that will still be good in years to come. My Crafter is 15 years old now and is as good as the day I bought it.
