Some people will miss them, but others never cared for them to begin with - and to be fair, they do sometimes throw off the flow of the discussion... Some people will miss them, but others never cared for them to begin with - and to be fair, they do sometimes throw off the flow of the discussion... i personally always thought that they destroy the flow of the discussion. especially if someone comments an early post in a thread while there already 10 replies after it, and you need to find the needle in the haystack what is new and what has changed... it does not fit to an online forum... yes it fits to social media like facebook or twitter, but there no real discussions are happening, just likes and thumps up...
