Members mbengs1
I haven't read any famous guitarist that uses Gibson les paul specials. Can you name some? I got a Cort CR-50 les paul special copy and it has some unique features like narrower string spacing on the string saddles, I'd like to know guitarists who used the Gibson les paul special. Members 1001gear
Don't know about Pauls. I'd like one for the tone. Don't even know what kind. I have an Epi Dot but it's so cumbersome and not as buttery as a Paul. What was the problem with your account?
Members Mikeo
The real thing has P90 and was made in the 50's as a single cut and a double cut. A lot of folks have used them over the decades.

I 'm not a fan of overly hi output pups. Members Grant Harding
They're a bit old school, but a Floyd, some active pickups, scalloping of the fingerboard, and a snakeskin finish should sort things out for you.

Moderators daddymack Posted December 27, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2018 too true...Bengs, why buy a guitar and then modify it to be something it wasn't intended to be and then complain about it? Just buy a line 6...oh, wait, that's Cornholio's line

Members crustoleum
I don't know, much of anything at all, actually, but maybe the guy that did the thing that is named "Mississippi Queen" used such of a thing as that, on that, with that, maybe,.maybe I don't know, but maybe, on that. i believe i have seen a thing that said that, on the internet, somewhere, about that, maybe. I'm kind of beginning to not remember about things like that, a little bit, now, maybe, but maybe not too.

Members Malcolm Ramone
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Bob Marley, unless I missed it. I believe Steve Diggle of the Buzzcocks played a Special. I had an Epi version, and a cheapie $149 Austin version, liked it better and sold the Epi.
