Members McsLk
Hey, I tried to play some improvisation in the way of Gary Moore feeling. I hope you'll like it and give me some feedback below the post. Thanks!

Members AJ6stringsting
The Op is on the right track. The more you learn about others fret board approach, picking attack / dynamics, the more you have in your " library" of technique and feel.Gary Moore was and is, one of the all time greats.Don't listen when people say it's not good to copy others. Members onelife
I agree with all of the replies so far. Gary was strongly influenced by Peter Green and both players had a sensitive side. In this example Gary plays Peter's "Jumping At Shadows" and it sounds to me like he is using a combination of heavier strings and less gain which requires him to dig in a bit harder than the OP to get the Gary Moore sound and feel. [video=youtube_share;TJ8cizY8QFU] That being said, my post is in no way a criticism of the OP but simply a suggestion.

Members onelife
Great playing' date=' tone, and awesome guitar face! [/quote'] I read an article in one of the guitar mags back in the '70s where Carlos Santana talked about "guitar face." He said that if he wants to play BB King style he'll make a BB King face.
