I dig it, it’s like a pomegranate bowling ball.

Members arcadesonfire
I'd call it:Marble counter top cut into the shape of a Les Paul. Or Bowling balls smelted into the shape of a Les Paul.
Members Zooey
I went on the Rondo website and looked at the drop down menus for custom ordering. Agile calls that top "burl maple," and it's a $35 surcharge on a maple top.

Dude there is such a thing as a bowling ball finish and it is a finish option called "swirl" offered by G&L in the 90s. Apparently it doesn't wear well and it's no longer orderable. Phil O'Keefe
Mother of Bowling Ball It kind of looks like burled wood or spalted wood, but I doubt that they actually used either of those.

Members Zipperhead
Made in Korea. I have a Dean Deceiver made in Korea. It's got a really cool tortoiseshell-like binding. I showed it to a friend who happens to be Korean and he said "Oh that's a traditional Korean furniture design". I doubt too many Dean Deceiver players know much about Korean furniture... If this git is as good as my Dean it's an ace. Zip
