Ibanez came out with the JEM and RG in 87... so that's 30 years, the heavy Floyds were from 77 or so, so that's 40 years. Thin necks, Hagstroms from the 60's and early 70's had them, along with Ric and KAPA, so.... let's call it 50 years, same with "sharp" bodies. A LOT of early Japanese guitars were like that. (cheaper then giving the edge a radius.) and flat radius..... think classical from about 400 years roughly. Keeping up with the times, ain't ya?
