Members mbengs1
will the ibanez tremolo fit well on a schecter guitar? i think schecter's fretboard radius is around 14" while ibanez is 15".
Members gardo
the fretboard radius will be compensated for when the action is set.

Members mbengs1
coz I was thinking of buying guitars for my pickup venture (I plan to accumulate 5 new pickups). I plan to get into dimarzio aftermarket pickups and I need guitars to put them in. I was thinking an Ibanez RG4xx guitar and another guitar a bit more expensive. a schecter C-1 would be ok. or maybe an Ibanez S521 or an ESP. Members hellion_213
Okay, I'll bite.....If you're buying solely to mod, why not look at GFS? Stewmac, Irongear, etc?I also have to ask - why only DiMarzio?

I also have to ask - why only DiMarzio? because I like dimarzio best. I think their pickups sound great with Ibanez guitars. they make a great pair. I'm into Ibanez players of the 80's and 90's who mostly used dimarzio too.
Members badpenguin
And this question about the trem fits into your grand scheme...... how?
Members hellion_213
Cool, you dig DiMarzio. To answer your trem question - the trem doesn't care what the radius is, you shim the saddles to match the radius. The biggest issue is which locking nut you use R4, R3, etc.Oh, and you really should use F-spaced pickups with a Floyd or Edge
