Chord help (id'ing)

you COULD think of them as a 7#9 chord and a maj7#11 or 7#11 chord, respectively... I would have to hear them in context, though... If for instance, you're in the key of E minor, and you implied a B7#9 using B, D and D#, then resolved to an Em7, using the notes B, D and E (trying to voicelead as much as possible) then going to your Cmaj7#11 chord using C, E and F#... That might be a pretty cool progression and way to voice it in a cluster-ish sort of way...

Keep in mind that the chords I mentioned are at least 4 part chords, so having three notes in them makes you omit certain notes. In the B7#9 I omitted the 5 and 7. In the Em7 I ommited the 3rd (so technically this could also be an E7 or an E7sus4 or whatnot) and for the Cmaj7#11 I ommited the 5 and 7.
