Members Virgman
Kenny Burrell. I love his playing. In the last 6 months or so I have really gotten into his stuff. Man, he is good. I'd rather listen to him than anyone else.
Members meganutt7
Ever listen to Soulero?? (I think that is how it's spelled... either that or Solero...) That is one of my favorite albums of his... He's been around, too!! played with Billy Holiday, Coltrane, etc. etc. He has really done alot of different things!!!! I also really like (as far as this style goes, and eventhought he isn't REALLY this style, only kind of) Ronnie Earls' more "jazz" oriented stuff... I love the ballads on "Language of the Soul"... he has that Kenny Burrell Bluesy jazz vibe on those, though way more minimalistic and not as harmonically sophisticated as Kenny would/could get.... Still, he is a super tasty player too.
Members jeremy_green
Here's a seconder for Soulero (you were correct on the spelling Danny)That album is part of my regular rotation as well. Great strong phrases. I dig his style too.

Members 1001gear
The piano part kept bumping into the guitar. Modern recordings are so pristine it was strange hearing that. Dug the player though. Very pretty piano solo as well.

Members Virgman
Thanks for sharing that, Virgman. He's great.Kelly His tone and technique in the way he plays are very fine. When he ends a note it is smooth, not abrupt. The note fades very carefully.
