Members billmolch
Does anyone have a tab for the intro to Allan Holdsworth's 'Non Brewed Condiment' tune from the ATAVATACHRON album? I've scoured the Internet and have come up dry. I'd really love to learn this but it is way beyond the capabilities of my naked ear alone to transcribe. Now I'm going to have to go figure out those cool out licks later on in the solo.

Members billmolch
Jeremy, Thank you very much. That is one of the (pronounced thee) most impressive tabs I have ever seen. I've been searching for something that would give me a glimpse of that tune for a while now. Once again, thanks. Bill

I've been searching for something that would give me a glimpse of that tune for a while now. Once again, thanks.Bill It's a cool song (haven't listened to that album in a while), and what actually motivated me to tab that is that the rest of the song is pretty cool, and I plan on figuring it out for my own edification. There may be a few mistakes in the tab above, but I know he's playing the Dm pentatonic scale up until the end of the second line of tab, where he switches to Gm pentatonic scale. I slowed down the line about 30% and I'm pretty sure I have it, but I can't be 100% certain.
Members rky
i think if you play it like its tabbed out with sweeps its very very difficult to play the head. allan plays 4 notes per string, this fingering makes much more sense i think: allan probably plays 22-17-15-17 on the D string but that kind of string skipping is impossible for normal humans
