I avoid smart phones and all that. Keep it simple,like me Can tonebridge be run without connecting to internet? I'm in Thailand, and tho most Thais are SM addicts, I only use net at home. Can you download enough of the program to "stand alone"? The cable is 4 connection plug that goes into headphone/mic jack. Could I use other smart phone apps for guitar that could stand alone & if so, could you suggest some? The phone I have is a Samsung junior got few years ago. Do know it doesn't have the fancier audio so as to use Irig... can't find model number (figures). I'm old school: I use phone as phone, not to get on net.
