Members KillDozer
I heard a clip of a THD Flexi 50 with a clean boost the other day and thought, "damn, that sounds good!" Dropped in on a local store called GuitarX, which has a huge selection of boutique (and otherwise) pedals, as well as cool guitars, amps, basses. If you're not in the Mile High city, you can check out/buy stuff at GuitarX I eventually picked up a Keely/Legendary Sound George Lynch Time Machine boost. If you're not familiar with this pedal, it has a vintage 60s/70s side (NOS germanium circuit) and a modern side with a Mr. Scary switch. The vintage 60s boost sounded great on the Flexi and my Bogner Shiva. Just for laffs, I put it in front of my Peavey 5150II, and every setting sounded great (the gain was somewhat pulled back on the 5150II, of course). The Mr. Scary sounded incredible with either the Peavey gain on 2 and the pedal at about 3:00 or the Peavey at 4-5 and the pedal around 12:00. Members KillDozer
Didn't see that one. I was just looking at clean boosts, though. I don't think I've ever seen so many different pedals in one place.
