Members Cliff Fiscal Posted July 27, 2012 Members Share Posted July 27, 2012 I'm not much help with the questions you're asking. I used it as a effects only unit. Guitar>GT8>amp. I didn't use any of the built in distortion/OD/fuzz....I did put my own pedals in the loop of the GT8.....it allows you to pre-program patches that include the loop. Also had an amp with MIDI at the time, and it allowed me to change channels. Basically, it allowed me to stop tap dancing and just hit one switch to go from one extreme setting to another. I thought the effects were good. Not amazing, but good enough for live use. There was a bit of tone suck though......it muted the tone a little. Just slightly dull compared to guitar straight into the amp. The ease of use is what keeps making me want to go back to MultiFX. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
