Members bvester
I'm looking at the AMT SS-11B or SS-20. The features seem like exactly what I'm going for - three channels, ranging from clean to high gain. My goal is to be able to plop the preamp on my board so I have easy control over that and then can easily create a stereo effected signal to send to a rack tube power amp. Are there other pedals I should consider?
Members bvester
I'm also seeing the ISP Theta and A/DA APP-1 around the same price point and feature set. Any comparisons on these?
Members Mr.Grumpy
Tech 21 SansAmp series. There's the jack-of-all-trades GT2, and then they have the "character" series which are designed to emulate specific amps. "Leeds" (Hiwatt emulation, I think)"Blonde" (brownface Fender)"Oxford" (Orange?)"British" (Marshall)"Liverpool" (Vox)"California" (Mesa Mark II)"US Metal" (Mesa Rectifier) Oh, yeah, there's cheap knockoff of many of these pedals too. o Joy. More than I can bear in ger.
Members Will Chen
Besides the AMT and Tech 21 stuff...Bogner Red/Blue/Uber, all the Kingsley stuff, you can get the runoffgroove pedals built at olcircuits.com and a couple other builders, Carl Martin, and Wampler...
