Members DeepEnd
A woman at church is learning bass and wants to "shadow" our bass player. This morning she played along with her unplugged bass but then the two of them started talking about "sharing" the same amp. I'm not even sure it would work but my top-of-the-head guess is that a mixer with 1/4" inputs might sorta do the job, even if the result would probably sound dreadful. I might just have her bring in her amp or borrow my little 60 Watt SWR combo. I'm also thinking about something like a Vox Amplug and a pair of headphones. Any suggestions are welcome. Phil O'Keefe
The cheapest way to do it would be with a passive resistance mixer... a few resistors, a couple of jacks and a case and about ten minutes of your time - if you can solder. If not, there are commercially built models available.
