Members Stringmusic1983
Hi everyone, thanks in advance for your help ! I recently purchased a Yamaha G50-210 amp. The amp came with a footswitch but it is not the original one. Based on my research, it is original to a Yamaha PG1 preamp. It has a 1/4 inch jack with no cable. The three switches seem to be latching type for channel, equalizer and reverb with LEDs. The amp has four 1/4 inch jacks that are "footswitchable". I can only assume that each of the four jacks require it's own switch via a tr(mono) cable. I'm not interested in lighting the LEDs, just switching three of the four effects. Can I modify the existing footswitch with a 1/4 inch jack for each of the switches to achieve this ? Is there an aftermarket footswitch that's better ? Also, I would really like to have a user manual if available. It is not available through Yamaha. Thanks again !
