Here are some clips I recorded with the Tonelab(direct-recording)

I use the Tonelab voor home-recording but also for live-gigs...both direct to the mixer.

I also posted a videoclip where I demonstrate some tapping-techniques. Also played through a Tonelab but recorded with my webcam and also with the cam-mic...so the soundquality of this clip is not good.

STUNNING!!!

Robbert. Wow, IMHO, you've just posted the best first post ever. Absolutely outrageous and inspirational playing: in technique, composition and soul. You're a consumate musician, and I'm thrilled you've decided to share your talent on HCAF.

Tell us more about what you do with your music. :)

Big smiles,

Andy.

Dann's The Man: Thanks a lot man!! Appreciate it very much!

I'm a guitarist from The Netherlands.
Working as a full-time musician...lots of session work, playing with dutch artists etc.. Gives me just the time and freedom to do the thing I really enjoy...working on instrumental songs!

Do you use real amps any more, or is it all the Tonelab route? :)

I also use amps at home.

I have the triaxis, custom audio 3+ and a 2:90 mesa poweramp.

But for recording and also live-performing I use the Tonelab since 2 years.
Works great and quick in the studio and sounds very natural.
Although I have to confess I ordered a Groove tubes SEII emulator to make it even MORE fat and natural

It sounds weird but I can't reach the sound of a Tonelab with micing up a triaxis or custom audio in my home studio

Holly {censored}!!!

I usually cannot listen to insane shredding for too long but you really make it sound good! I mean, the way you use it... just awesome!

Props to you, my man! Unbelievable chops!

Wow thanks guys!!!

Crwnedblasphemy: I did all the soloing with the Tonelab. Some of the tracks were done with a backing but the Tonelab is also very good for metal rythm tones!

At this moment I'm waiting for the Groove Tubes emulator SE II which I'm gonna combine with the Tonelab and Mesa 2:90 poweramp...can't wait!
