I would hope common sense tells you that based on who Dan is and what he does that he would use all kinds of guitars, amps, cabs, pickups, etc. It would depend on the project. You're right, i'm sorry! Stupid of me to think that although he probably owns gear that can fill up a music store, he still has some preference on some gear to get his well known signature sound..
