Members Felix_Unger
1x12. I think I finally found an amp that I could enjoy for a very long time. I've never cared about an amp's "clean" channel. I figure what's the point of having a super-clean channel when I'm just gonna try to dirty it up anyway.Loved that overdrive sound. Nice price, too. I want the 2x12.
Members satannica
I think I want the 1x12 for home use. I love my 6505+ amp head and would love to recreate that sound at low volumes at home. Peavey's just had it right all along!

I had a go with the new Budda amps now built by Peavey, and I thought that they sounded much better than pre-Peavey Buddas. I used to own an SD-18 combo. Divine amp, but the Peavey version has a much more dense midrange and bottom end, less fizzy top end.

Members OverDriven
I too love my 6505+ into my Mesa cab. Unfortunately I don't play live at the moment so I'm finding less and less use for it. For recording I can get equally great sounds by running amp sims. Members hcprimerib
the combo is a little different sounding. it doesn't have the crossover distortion the heads do but its still mean as hell. I prefer the combos tones to the head, but use the head live because of portability
