Members SpacedCowboy
I've discovered that with the addition of doing regular cardiovascular workouts (treadmill, elliptical machine, tread climber) my vocal power/stamina has improved tenfold. Is there a correlation, or is it just a placebo kind of effect? And does anyone else employ this kind of thing?
Members WowieZowie
I totally agree. I run, and ride mountain bikes. I believe that it helps my lung capacity, (they open up more since I work them more) and it helps my attitude. I really like routines. A cardio workout is part of a routine for me. Also, Yoga is very cool. It helps to lower the stress. You also become more adept at focusing on a certain part of your body. In the case of singing, perhaps you will become more adept to using your diaphragm.
