        I went to a concert in 1975, Kansas with Rory Gallagher opening. Rory came out and just tore up the place, absolutely amazing performance by perhaps the best rock guitarist ever. Then Kansas comes on. Half an hour into their set and they're in the middle of some long quiet ponderous song. Someone in the audience yells "Rory Gallagher" as loud as they can, and the entire theater erupts in applause. It was epic.
