  • Recommendations for a baritone electric

I'm looking for a baritone. I found a few a while back, but they had garbage hardware on them and crap pickups.

Only because my wife owns one. But I'm a drummer, so I have no idea how good it is, but it looks cool.
I loaned you all that cash when nobody else would, so now you can't criticize me for murdering a journalist.

I put something in the price range any Playboy's budget.

Just in case the old broad at work comes through.

ESP makes some good stuff, I have an LTD 250 bass. This one looks cool, but would cost more.

Get the Collings. Baritone guitar done right. American made , P90's great tone, probably plays like butter.

If you must slum, try the PRS.

What would be the best way to drop her a hint as to which one I wanted?

What's the point of a baritone guitar? You wanna play a bass, get a bass! I really don't get it.

OK, let me think about this.

You and her are in the sack watching a little porn, on your laptop. Than things get really heated and you're driving her home. A perfect home run. You accidentally bump the laptop and it just happens to bring up the Collings 360 Baritone guitar. You climax, not from the porn, but from the clip I just posted.

Then you tell her all about how great the Collings Baritone or the PRS is, and that you were thinking about getting one. You might die if you don't get one too.

Didn't you see Christmas Story where Ralfie puts a copy of the Red Rider BB Gun ad inside his moms look magazine?

Next thing you know you're online with her credit card. Don't forget to make out a bit while she's ordering. You don't need to do a thing, just bring on the charm.

Once you're in, the truck will be a breeze. Practice in the Baritone .

Let us know how you like it when it comes in.

You can get baritone replacement necks to covert a standard sized Telecaster to baritone. They make a Fender Blacktop baritone that isn't too pricey. Hagstrom and Danelectro are also not too crazy expensive. I want one too. I don't play much country but I like it in more ambient things. Squire is making a 6 string bass that I like. If I was actually performing I'd be more into the high end stuff but at 60 I need to be realistic, and a baritone or 6 string bass isn't going to be my main guitar anyway.

Well, they definitely sound different than bass guitars do.

Or he could just go down on the old broad at work with a nice bankroll for a few weeks and get the best of the best.
