I have owned 3 Carvin amps. The R600 was the worst bass amp and 4X10 ever. I replaced it 20 years ago with an Ashdown ABM 500, when they were all made in the UK.

I have also owned an X60 combo that I grab in mint shape from Drone Sound in Schenectady NY. 100 bucks plus tax. The also owned a Vintage 33.

If you like the feel of your Carvins, and the tones great.

I have played a few Carvin guitar and they were nothing to write home about, however, they did have a slick fast neck.

The slicked neck imo is the Musicman Aixs. That EVH guitar.

Glad you like your Carvin. A trem would be a deal breaker for me though, no matter what brand the guitar was.

If the Carvin is your best guitar, that says more about what you don't have than it says about how awesome Carvins are.

        I mean were.

Those Musicman EVH models (later called the Axis) do have really slick necks on them. I've played several, and they all have a very smooth feel and a really nice feeling profile and size that I think is really comfortable to play.

                  You Carvin haters

I put together one of their Bolt kits.I'll put it up against any Fender Strat, any day. It's got some features Fender doesn't.

Also one of their bass kits. Darn good bass.

I use one of their AG 100D acoustic amps. PA in a box, decent bass amp too.

My paws are not that big.

I think EHV has paws like mine.

Not my paws. It's just something I grabbed off the net.

I wouldn't be surprised if my paws are smaller than EVH's paws, or your paws... or the guy in the picture. They're pretty small...
