  • But the Mueller investigation is over and has released its results

This is the latest talking point of the far right. It seems to be the basis for further complaints of "political games" and " harassment of the President" and other such nonsense.

Unfortunately, the far-right use of the talking point to try to convince themselves that further investigation of Trump is unwarranted, ignores the basic conclusion of the Mueller report, which was that, while he wasn't going to pursue criminal charges, Congress certainly has the [Constitutionally supported] right to do so.

So, sorry, guys... if you want to use the Mueller report as justification for exoneration, and admonish everyone not on the far right to let it go, it demonstrates that you don't understand (and probably didn't read) the Mueller report.

It's not over, and the House, in pursuing further avenues of investigation, is doing exactly what the Mueller report advises them to do.

There is an almost desperate level of effort being expended on the right to manipulate the Optics of this expanding and ongoing issue.

we are saying some high-priority damage control going on right now.

The report is apparently so convincingly pro trump that no one should be allowed to discuss it.

Again: the conclusion of the Mueller report was that no criminal indictments would come about, as long as Trump is president. AND- Congress is free to pursue the clear and demonstrated incidents of Obstruction of Justice (a crime) using their Constitutional powers.

This is a definitive springboard to the next phase of the investigation into Trump's criminal activities.

It's definitely not Democratic Party lies, or MSM spin, or anything of the like.

        Sorry.

Apparently the desperate, dishonest spinning and the force-feeding of inaccurate talking points on the part of trump and his supporters has worked on some people.

              I think his point was-

Talking points and spin promulgated by "media" entertainers have apparently, for some folks, displaced actual facts as documented in the Mueller report.

              Sad.
