  • WTF is wrong with this guy?

This jackarse needs to go yesterday. I honestly can not believe a congress critter can be this clueless. Guess he couldn't let AOC out stupid him.

An argument can be made about "white nationalist" albeit a weak one, but "white supremacist" there's absolutely no argument in favor of it not being offensive.

Trump isn't even this farking dumb.

Steve King asks how terms 'white nationalist' and 'white supremacist' became offensive

Seems like the " Wall " is a very expensive symbolic expression of racial fear.
Trump seems to want to only allow European immigrants to come to America and exclude Hispanic immigration to the U.S.
If you look back on history, Brown skin folks were the majority from Alaska to Tierra De Fuego in Chile.
Seems to me Fox News, Breitfart, Alex Jones and other White Nationalist media are feeding people of Colonial Ancestry, fear of others who are different from themselves.
Much like H.G. Wells 1938 production of War Of The Worlds , produced mass fear and chaos to the masses.
PrimaDonald is a criminal fraud and liar, much like Jim Jones and David Karesh are exploding and igniting peoples fears and hate. How the close minded, ignorant and racist elements seem to be Trump's final devotees,
Trump has created many diversions to cover up the news with military pull outs ( many are defying his orders ), Government shut downs and border walls to cover up the fact that Robert Mueller's probes are making the wall close in on Trump's criminal activities, treason, money laundering, enriching himself through his Presidency and conspiracy with hostile nation to defraud the American people.
He's waging many dogs .... In fact too many for his own good.
How many guitarists does it take to screw in a lightbulb ? Five , one to screw it in , hit the switch and four to sit around bragging how much better they could have done it !!!! 😱👹😲

Yeah, arrogant, white, male and ignores everybody who isn't just like him. Or who gives him a lot of "campaign contributions."

What's wrong with him? He's white, male, late middle-aged if not "senior." And he did not pay attention in history class. Why are terms like "White Nationalist" and "White Supremacist" offensive? It starts with the invasion of the Americas by white folks, who believed that because of their religion, their technology and their weapons that they were "superior" to the "natives" who knew the country better than they ever could.

It goes on through "Slavery Times," when white men of his type believed non-whites, non-males and everything else were "inferior" and therefor not worthy of respect or even decent treatment.

After the War Between the States and the Emancipation Proclamation, he seems to have missed the Jim Crow laws, Segregation, Lynchings, the Ku Klux Klan, the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and `60s, the Womens' Rights movement and all the other attempts to give non-whites, non-males and everything else he considers "inferior" anything approaching equal treatment under the law.

Alexandria Ocassio-Cortez is young, idealistic and possibly a bit naive, but at least she knows what she's talking about. She's not "stupid," just uninformed. Further, she has experienced the [BLEEP] Mr. King doesn't understand or acknowledge. He, on the other hand, is living in his clean white soap bubble, thinking that all this fuss over "equal rights" is just people who "don't know their place" or how well-off he and his ilk tell them they are. That is willful ignorance, which even stupidity cannot excuse.

The difference is Steve King and voters with that sentiment will largely be gone in 25-30 years. They are aging out. Ocassio-Cortez is essentially the future. Does anyone think Trump's tribal politics are doing the GOP any favors.... they will get smaller, and smaller as they leak out the sensible moderates and the older nationalists die off.

It's a pity Daryl left us. He'd have enthusiastically defended that guy.
      It would have been hilarious.

Guys, don’t ascribe hateful opinions to other forum members - especially when they have not said anything on the subject themselves.

Has he been making statements like this for 15 years? Serious question I haven't heard about him before trump but my memory sucks .

The one good thing about trump is he's emboldening the racists in the party and they're coming out of the closet so to speak. I can't see him being reelected. As the say sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Lol The republican voters in his district voted for him. They wanted him to represent them. He doesn’t represent the rest of republicans so it doesn’t matter what they think. He gets a vote just like they do.
