I'm sorry, I misunderstood. At least you can say you didn't fall for his trickery. Good job by you.

You make one helluva lot of assumptions. BA.
I have talked about stuff with you on this site for a while. You're an "informed" voter. I don't agree with you on a bunch of stuff, but I know that you are paying attention to politics.

Since you are an informed voter, you were not the target of the Russian efforts.

This link shows fake facebook groups and targeted ads. It is plain to see that they were targeted toward gullible people.

          Okay, thanks, appreciate that.

I guess my point was, in 2016, I was still permabanned from HC. I wasn't here, didn't participate in any discussions.

Shouldn't you be making a snarky comment about sarcasm about now?

I asked you yesterday if you donated to the go-fun-me site for the wall. I don't expect an answer. How about this one: Did you vote for Trump?

At least George W sent everybody a check for $300 when he won. Trump supporters can't even afford to stay in one of his hotels for a night.

            Trump supporter = sucker.

Well, lets take a look at the Russian influence.

" the ads were clicked on about 3.7 million times. Most of those clicks came after the election."

"The most popular ad campaign was the one below, encouraging people to support the police. It was targeted generally to American adults with an interest in supporting law enforcement, including those with the following interests: “Support Law Enforcement, The Thin Blue Line, Officer Down Memorial Page, Police Wives Unite, National Police Wives Association or Heroes Behind The Badge.”

It earned 1.3 million impressions alone and 73,000 clicks. It ran starting Oct. 19, 2016."

I'm sure this helped Trump since nobody imo really expects democrats to take law enforcement seriously, they wouldn't want to alienate their base lol!

"Most of the campaigns were far less successful. About a quarter never received any impressions at all."

"The ads didn’t cost very much. The Russians spent more than 95 million rubles — an amount that at current exchange rates is equal to about $95,000."

That has to be the best money the Russians ever spent considering for 95k they have half of this countries snowflakes still crying 2 years after the election.

Some people work through their difficulties. Some people get obsessed about things like small hands and can never seem to let it go, to the detriment of those around them. It's all a part of a multi-dimensional delusional personality. He's damaged goods, no matter what his hand size.

"In an indictment announced Friday in Washington, Mueller describes a years-long, multimillion-dollar conspiracy by hundreds of Russians aimed at criticizing Hillary Clinton and supporting Senator Bernie Sanders and Trump."

But zero influence on yerself, yes?

If the Sanders campaign was in contact with the Russians over 100 times, and Sanders' campaign manager was supplying the russians with polling data, then yes, I imagine we would be.

Many democrats are not fans of MoveOn.org. I certainly am not. I find them to be sanctimonious dicks. This only confirms it.

Absolutely. I don't think Sanders ever had a chance but if somehow he had won, what would the anti-socilialists be saying about Russia? Can you freaking imagine a "socialist" getting elected and then being linked to Russian influence?

But there is the fine line. Did Bernie collude? I kinda think not. Did the Trump campaign collude? We are starting to see hard evidence that they did. There's a big difference.

Fortunately I'm not a Democrat, so I get to dodge this one.

But your question is legit. How much do we want people/countries that do not have our best interest at heart influencing our elections?

Bush served two terms, so whatever MoveOn might have done, it didn't work. But criminals get better with practice and we now see the results of that.

I personally don't believe he would have won without the Russian facebook campaign.

But what really disturbs me is that his voters know that Russians interfered and don't mind.

My golfing buddy told me before the election that if Putin was running he'd vote for him. Putin represents authoritarianism. Some people like having an extreme boss. Kind of ironic when you hear all the talk about "freedom" and "government off our backs".
