And do the republicans making the same sort of comments get called out by FOX, Limbaugh, and Brietbart?

You’ve just discredited your entire premise.

Let her dig her own grave. Or not. See what she has. I'm okay with that.

The only reason she is getting attention is that she is young and kinda hot.

        Sad, but true.

Them mean nasty fact checkers keep picking on her. We can imagine the endless mocking if a repub spewed half the crap she does, I fact we don't have to imagine we fan see how trump is rightfully mocked and how Palin was, yet this dem gets let off easy.

And WTF is she talking about that the fact checkers need to focus on trump? They take trump to task all the time.

"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at fact-checkers just days after taking office, accusing them of “false equivalency” and “bias” toward her in their columns examining her statements."
          https://www-foxnews-com.cdn.ampproje...ias-toward-her
I note that "them mean nasty fact checkers" are FOX News, which automatically calls their objectivity into question. Further, the other "mean nasty fact checkers" who don't work for FOX have been ripping Donald Trump up one side and down the other for proven lies he's told.

All in all, this smacks more of the Republicans, the Trump Troupe and FOX News going after a flamboyant, free-thinking young woman because they can't come up with any real reasons to call her into question. She's also a political newcomer who hasn't caught on to the standard lies, subterfuges and dodges that the experienced hands in Washington use to cover their tracks. Worse, she's still idealistic enough to tell people what she thinks, rather than toeing some party line or other. Or sucking up to party leadership -- especially the Republican party leadership.

Mostly, though, FOX News is starting to run low on pro-Trump smoke screen material.

Actually the fact checkers were politifact and the Washington Post. Not Fox.

Do you honestly believe a freshman repub pulling "facts" out of their a$$ would recieve the same treatment? I don't.
I think a freshman Republican congressman would receive LESS 'treatment' because they wouldn't be as well known. Same could be said for most any other Dem congressman as well. But she's made a bit of a name for herself so she gets more notice. She's getting flack that seems to be commensurate with her current public profile.

BTW, what about that freshman Dem congresswoman would said "impeach the mother****" Seems SHE got plenty of pushback for that. Do you think SHE got off easy for partisan reasons too?

Palin got more pushback not for partisan reasons but because SHE WAS RUNNING FOR VICE PRESIDENT!

How much pushback did she get when she was simply just the governor of Alaska? What? She didn't manage to say any stupid sh*t back then? She saved it all for her run to become VP? I seriously doubt it.

Yes she was RUNNING for VP a basically ceremonial position. Sure there is a slight chance a VP becomes President due to the President not being able to fulfill their term. looks like it's happened 8 times in our history maybe 9 with Nixon's resignation.
                https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory..._President.htm

In other words Palin was nothing to worry about just an easy target.

I'm sorry you went to all the trouble to look that up because that's all completely irrelevant. No one in the media sits around assessing the degree to which one is likely to become president one day. That has nothing to do with it.

Running for VP made Palin a nationally known figure sure to be in the news just about every day. Her self-inflicted flubs were what made her a target in a way Paul Ryan never was. Even though, he too, was a Republican.

But nowhere near on the same level as a VP candidate and it's only been for FOUR DAYS.

How much heat did Palin endure during her first 4 days after being announced as the VP candidate?

Seriously, you're comparing 4 days of AOC to 10 years of Palin?

Other than what I see here, she's completely off my radar. All I see is a freshman congressman with only a couple of hours in the chambers. She is a political powder puff. A complete novice.

i actually kinda like that girl, she’s cute as hell and young enough to learn – heck, maybe someone will drop one of those pocket constitution and bill of rights books and she’ll find it and actually read it. point is, she’s 29 – pelosi is 79, feinstein and grassley were both born in 1933 (85ish), mitch mconnell is 76, hillary is 71 and trump is 72, biden clocking in at 76, and these are just scratching the surface. my point is, why is our country being run by the f@cking crypt keepers, more and more we have nothing more than a bunch of septuagenarians and octogenarians engaging in a boot pissing ego war - and we accept that as our government. apparently joseph de maistre was correct - "every country has the government it deserves".

Compared the two, but not along the same lines.

Nothing said about "Palin got attacked more!" or that they were of equal notoriety. Sorry, nice try, but fail.
