I`ve listened to these pretty darn close as far as people posting samples, and I`m impressed. It`s a little odd, I had to contact them(the guy) regarding the GZ12fet(like it sounds) because they are nowhere to be found, and he said he`d sell it for $600 direct. I really like them because they show you the guts inside, top notch everything. I think I`m gonna buy myself one for my birthday coming up. Lately, I`ve been using a Rode NT2A with AMAZING results through good preamps. I know there`s a great divide with this mic, but DANG it sounds good for how much they are.

I`m going to buy one after I buy all the Christmas gifts. Jeez, 5 nephews(who all want instruments) and 2 nieces. I`ll eventually get to buy myself something eventually! The Rode, I`m going to be really upset if it`s even close. I have some more expensive vocal mics, some less. In my OWN shootout, with the same preamp, the NT2A just ruled. I didn`t want to believe it but it sounds 100% "radio ready"(at least through my setup YMMV). So I`m going to jump to one of these mics, I have a slight feeling I`m going to be disappointed, I hope I`m wrong.

All 3 of my uncles played in bands, Then there`s me, my sister plays piano, the kids had little to no influence from me, I`m about 1000 miles away(I visit, going there soon). But yeah it`s expensive, the oldest is 13 and he`s already playing the uke, I bought him a proper acoustic last year, an LTD(can`t remember the model) guitar and amp(Roland Cube 30) for his birthday and he`s getting a Fender Jazz bass and amp for Christmas. The second oldest is getting a banjo( DANG those things are EXPENSIVE), the rest are getting starter acoustics. They are young and that`s good enough for now. I swear, I get drained dry every Christmas with these kids, but it`s OK. Some of the stuff I buy them I want myself! So, I put off stuff I want to buy until after the holidays.**********
