Americans rank Barack Obama as best president of their lifetimes: Poll

I'm not surprised by this, though I may not have agreed with all of Obama's policies, he brought class and dignity to the White House....both which are sorely missing now.

Same people who predicted Hillary would win. I don't believe any polls. They're unreliable.

Clint lecturing an empty chair at the R convention was a personal highlight for me. The best part though was when cameras would break away from the stage (where women and minorities were prominently featured) to the convention audience (who were overwhelmingly older white and male).

I remember wondering if others were also seeing the irony of that and getting the joke. Good times...

As for your edit, I don't care about "everyone", I'm not a communist. You can't please everyone. Communism sure couldn't. It ends up pleasing no one.
Does rooting for the team that is best for society mean you have to (or want to) inflict suffering on the other team?

For me it's not about trying to please everyone. It's about understanding and trying to reduce suffering. I suppose you could call it compassion - which some might describe as a weakness.

He won because the poll was a bunch of brainwashed millennials that only know Clinton and Bush, and probably can't even remember when Clinton was president. And millenials being the last generation that will ever be politically correct, I know they have very shallow reasons for picking obama.

obama is a herpe sore on a dead maggot

Worst thing that ever happened to this county
I was wondering why the OP resulted in such a balistic response from you.

Perhaps you see polls like a football match, where you want to stop the other side from winning, rather than as a barometer for public opinion.

"herpe sore on a dead maggot" ???

Your scorn must be really comforting to all the American workers negatively impacted by Trump's policies.

    Do you feel their pain?

This is a story about Iowa soybean farmers taking a hit of $600 M.

Jyst one state. added up across all the various agricultural sectors in this nation pretty soon you got enough to buy a few Trump steaks.
