  • "You have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation"....

William McRaven, the retired four-star admiral who led U.S. Special Operations Command from 2011 to 2014, has resigned from the Pentagon’s technology advisory board following a public critique of President Donald Trump.

“Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation,” McRaven wrote to Trump in the Post. “If you think for a moment that your McCarthy-era tactics will suppress the voices of criticism, you are sadly mistaken. The criticism will continue until you become the leader we prayed you would be.”

    Good for him.

A 4 Star Admiral and Navy Seal speaks his mind about the potus, and follows through by resigning from the Defense Innovation Board. Pretty sure he knows what leadership is, and what it isn't.

Go ahead Trumpers - let the Swiftboating begin!

I would certainly believe him over Trump, who's demonstrated time and time again that he's a pathological liar.

Trumpologists are more bothered by the truths of others than the lies of Spanky.

which is kind of curious when you think about it.

Only those with a functioning brain.

Interestingly, while McRaven is a Democrat, he doesn't seem to restrict his criticism to one side:

Trumpism is like a recent blizzard, perched on the highest peaks, waiting for the inevitable avalanche and melt.

Let the sun shine on Trump.
Thank you, Admiral McRaven. President Washington would be proud.
George Washington was the man who never told a lie. Richard Nixon was the man who never told the truth. Donald Trump is the man who doesn't know the difference.
Venezuela is what happens when you have Trump without the Madison.

              I agree.

When a guy was as good a game-show host as Trump was on The Apprentice, who cares what anybody says?

When I make a mistake I own up to it. You backed the wrong horse, just admit it and move on.

Well, once again we have the libs scourging the poor public conduct and dour judgement they perpetrated upon themselves that precipitated a president Trump. But, it will never be admitted so who's saying they own up to their mistakes?
