  • OT - What was your 1st vehicle?

We've got the what your driving thread so how about your first street vehicle?

My first car was a 55 Pontiac with a 350 Chevy, first bike was a 68 FL kick start only.

Miss both of them, the Pontiac was totalled and I blew a baseball size hole in the FLs cases.

In the 2nd Second of Forever, I thought of the pair of broken shades lying on the tarmac.

Damn, I was lying. You said "vehicle" and for me, that was a Corvette, a Schwinn Corvette. Blue with chrome fenders and as modified as a ten year old could do.

1963 Dodge 2 door 6 cyl 3 spd on the column---$75 @ 90k miles, drove it to 300k miles+---scrapped it because the master cylinder went south and got a deal on a better car.

First bike was a Rupp 90.Several in between. First REAL bike was my father's 1958 FL.

The first car I ever owned was a 1964 Triumph TR4 that I bought from my brother, with the hope of restoring it. I ran out of money before I got very far. The first vehicle I ever put plates on was a 1974 Chevrolet K5 Blazer -- short wheelbase, four wheel drive. Great fun off road, but it was falling apart by the time I traded it in with only about 65,000 on the odometer. (give or take a few thousand miles)
