Members scubyfan Posted May 24, 2002 Members Share Posted May 24, 2002 i dont know the answer to it, but these are my guesses: 1) the venues most likely will compensate for the differences in voltages and prongs and things from country to country (this is not a likely option) 2) most electronic stores sell special thingies that convert one voltage, current, and shape to another. theyre about 10 bucks a piece. 3) all/some of the above Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For example, if one is going to tour in Europe, the hire company usually will be a European company and therefore would have their gear set up for Euro AC requirements.For your personal gear you'll need a transformer.
