Kaman owned Ovation/Applause (their flagship),Takamine/Jasmine, Hamer/Slammer, GTX, Ventura, and the Montana guitar brands, plus Sabian, Dixon, Legend, Gibraltar(stands) from the percussion world, and Lee Oskar harmonicas and Genz Benz amps. Since Hamer was essentially intended as a pro-line, which were (at least originally) based on classic Gibson designs, this was not going to be a good fit...
